Course Duration & Price: 2 days, 14 PDUs, $995 (Discounted group pricing available.)
Course Overview:
This course focuses on both improving the efficiency and effectiveness of all project-related communications, from initial planning through closure. This course also examines the new PMBOK® Guide subject of stakeholder management. Stakeholder management involves the identification of stakeholders, as well as the planning and implementation of strategies that will engage stakeholders over the life of the party. Involving stakeholders greatly increases the likelihood of securing their support for the project, which in turn greatly increases the likelihood of project success. Participants will apply all course principles to a work-related case study taken directly from their work environment. At course completion, students will be able to identify stakeholders, plan project communications, communicate project information effectively, identify and apply conflict resolution techniques, and evaluate closing phase communications.
This course is designed for all project managers and project team leaders. Participants will earn 14 PDUs upon completing this course.
